Career

A registered architect (DPLG), my career spans a wide range of projects, experiences and situations. I am passionate about architecture. As a holist, I take it in, absorb it and give it back through my work. Every project is a moment of architecture, but also a true story: a meeting between a place, a vision and people. My expertise is what guarantees the fusion of this trio into a precise and generous architecture.

Project manager on major industrial and housing operations, an independent architect often involved in projects of high heritage value, a teacher in a school of architecture, a tireless and insatiable seeker of architecture, and a self-builder: all experiences that have shaped both my know-how and the way I work with people.

Always held in tension between theory and practice, I have developed a keen sensitivity to materials. Coming from industry, the development of processes and the transformation of materials fascinate me. From this background I draw sharp technical expertise, but also a broad understanding of how architecture is actually made. To put it simply: take it in, think it through… then straight to the point — tangibly, right on the mark.

On that basis, whatever the subject, the brief, the complexity or the means, I will take them in and give them back to you through an invigorating architecture.
