Holistic design

We love this passage from liquid to solid. Architecture is not a "gesture". It is the transition from a liquid, shifting, undetermined reality towards something built and solid that endures through time.

The creative process sits at the boundary between these two states.

Far from being an assembly of parts, architectural design means capturing one moment of a whole. A project's parameters are many and contradictory: the environment, the site, ecology, the brief, regulations, standards, budget, technical constraints, stubborn assumptions, the client's wishes (spoken and unspoken), cultural ties and much more.

Holistic design calls for grasping coherence within this liquid space — leading to a solid, singular architecture, a gift of the present moment in which the client will recognise themselves.

It is in this holistic approach that we excel the most.
